(Timid Obsession)

I love my books. The stories they hold, the things they tell… The people they talk about. They are full of life, of wonder and joy, pain and sorrow, life and death. Blended with words, reaching every single page… I love my books, because everything else is so dull, so filthy. So unfinished… I don’t like stories without an end. If they leave me with nothing, no closure, no continuation… It’s too real. I don’t like that. What's real is unknown, it’s scary, it’s frightening. It leaves a stain on everything. Things that are real make me hide in my covers, away from all the hurt, the torment, the people… I don’t like the world, because the world never liked me. That's why I love my books. A perfect haven, from all the filth in the world. A perfect place, just for me.
